born 1994, by Lauriston out of Jarin (Acord 1 - Lucky Boy xx - Enfant de Normandie), brown, Dutch Warmblood

This mare has given birth to extraordinary colts, among who the Southern German Foal Champion and a licenced stallion can be found. In 2003 the mating with Alvarez of the Holzeder stud brought a brown colt named Ascot who instantly became Reserve Champion at the Lower Austrian foal inspection. At the Bundeschampionat this young show jumping prospect was ranked just after the dressage-talents.

Ascot qualified for the licencing show at Stadl-Paura and finished the 70-day-test on fourth place. The same result was achieved at the licencing show in February 2007 – our first licenced stallion has so far been quite active!

In 2004 Marin gave birth to another brown colt by Ritual. Ricardo won at the Lower Austrian Foal Inspection in some exceptional manner and was sold to the Römerhof stud. In 2006 a third brown colt was born, this time by the young, but up to now highly successful Quadrigus M. The winner of the show jumping part at the Licencing show in Southern Germany 2005 is a sunshine boy with excellent gaits and bodily chic, who instantly had the crowds on his side. Our colt Quality Star also knew how to impress and left the first Foal Inspection in Southern Germany as gold premium foal.
Only shortly afterwards he won the Foal Show in Southern Germany and was qualified for the auction in Landshut. There, a breeders’ community of Baden-Württemberg was awarded our colt at a historical record price.

Lucky Boy xx was one of the most popular Thoroughbred stallions in Dutch breeding (show kimping index: 139 Punkte, dressage index: 112 Punkte). Offspring such as Calypso, van Gogh, Servus etc. succeeded in international show jumping and contributed to his legendary status. Besides, a great number of his offspring was licenced, among who Beaujolais, Belmondo, Columbus etc. can be found.
