La Copine xx

born 1997, by Dashing Blade xx, out of La Joie xx (Acatenango xx – Exbury – Neckar), brown mare

This graceful mare joined the Neumann-Ullrich stud in 2005, after having proved her extraodinary quality as a Thoroughbred broodmare.

In 2006 she was registered in the Lower Austrian Stud Book with a mark of 7,51 (trot: 8,0!). She then had a foal by Winwood xx. This year she brought great joy to our stables by delivering a beautiful chestnut male by Alassio’s Boy.

La Copine’s xx father is the highly succesful Thoroughbred sire and race horse Dashing Blade xx.

This stallion moves lightly and smoothly in trot, with dynamic hind quarters and neat foreleg action – a rare sight with Thoroughbreds. One of his successful offspring, Zöllner xx – one of five registered stallions for Warmbloods – is a close relative to La Copine xx: his dam also relates to Acatenango xx. He is a very competitive Thoroughbred with extraordinary talent for dressage. Acatenango is a son of the legendary Surumu xx. Born 1982, this chestnut stallion won seven Group 1-Races, among them the German Derby. He was awarded the title „Galopper of the Year“ seven times in a row.
